Start with the event and a relevant customer task
AI Engineer World’s Fair takes place June 29–July 1, 2027 at Moscone West in San Francisco. The announced format combines technical learning, workshops, an AI tools expo and leadership discussions; detailed tracks, speakers and the schedule remain forthcoming.
Event dates: June 29–July 1, 2027. Location: Moscone West, San Francisco.
Who could use this campaign context?
For advertisers, the strongest planning angle is a concrete builder problem with an easy way to investigate the product. Evaluation tools, model infrastructure, retrieval services and developer platforms could use a single recognizable engineering task as the entry point. A mobile billboard has limited reading time, so reserve implementation detail for a landing page with a runnable example, benchmark methodology or short demo. A recruitment campaign could direct interested engineers to specific openings with clear role requirements. These are inferred campaign uses rather than verified attendee composition or purchasing intent. Match the call to action to a useful technical artifact, and ensure the team receiving inquiries can answer product questions promptly.
Three illustrative advertiser briefs
These concepts are proposed advertising approaches. They are not current client offers, organizer endorsements or reports of campaign outcomes.
AI evaluation platform — illustrative concept
Screen idea: Your agent passed the demo. What about production?
Response destination: An evaluation starter kit with a sample test suite and a short technical-demo booking path.
What to measure: Track kit downloads, demo requests and qualified follow-ups through a dedicated campaign link.
Inference infrastructure provider — illustrative concept
Screen idea: Bring your workload. Compare the latency.
Response destination: A benchmark request page explaining inputs, test conditions and how results will be shared.
What to measure: Measure submitted workload requests, completed benchmark sessions and subsequent sales conversations.
Engineering employer — illustrative concept
Screen idea: Build the tools AI engineers use.
Response destination: A focused careers page with actual open roles, location expectations and a concise application form.
What to measure: Use role-specific campaign tags to report completed applications and qualified interview invitations.
Separate arrival planning from the official program
Use June 29–July 1 as the event window; the official 2027 page does not extend the conference to July 2. June 28 may be considered for arrival-focused advertising, but should be labeled as campaign activity rather than a conference pre-day. Keep the creative schedule flexible until workshops, session hours and side events are announced. An opening message can introduce a practical tool, followed by a specific invitation to test it or book time. Check actual meeting availability before displaying time-sensitive copy, and retain the resource landing page after the event ends.
Review the actual local operating area
Use Moscone West as the geographic anchor and develop a public-street plan for its SoMa surroundings. Avoid assuming that activity at other Moscone buildings belongs to this event. Have operations review circulation near the venue, nearby hotels and any independently confirmed advertiser meeting address, accounting for loading areas, intersections and changing traffic controls. A useful plan may require several legal circulation options rather than repeated passes at one entrance. Confirm restrictions immediately before service and adjust to conditions. Neither an event listing nor an advertising booking grants access to venue property or controlled curb space.
Make the screen and response page work together
Use the advertiser’s brand, one readable headline and a memorable short URL. A QR code can support people who are stationary and can scan safely; it should not be the only response path. Put specifications, eligibility, availability and longer explanations on a matching mobile page. If you advertise a booth, meeting room or demonstration, verify the location, participation and staffing before releasing the artwork.
Test the form, booking calendar and confirmation message on a phone. Use a dedicated campaign tag or appropriate tracked phone number to distinguish voluntary responses. Report visits, qualified inquiries and attended meetings as different stages. GPS records and campaign photos document delivery; they do not count individual viewers or guarantee sales.
Prepare an event-specific proposal
Share the customer task, real meeting or business address, requested dates, local operating hours, truck count and creative. Separate travel or repositioning time from message display. Identify any private-property, staging or event-access request in advance so it can be reviewed separately. Ask what artwork changes, GPS documentation and campaign photographs are included. Current prices and availability remain subject to the written campaign scope.
